Through monthly sessions, hands-on experiences, and leadership development activities, students gain a deeper understanding of the community while building the skills, confidence, and relationships needed to become engaged and effective leaders.
Since its inception, hundreds of students have completed the Youth Leadership Augusta program, many of whom have gone on to pursue higher education, launch successful careers, and serve as leaders throughout the CSRA and beyond. The program brings together a diverse group of students representing public, private, and charter high schools across the region, creating lasting friendships and networks while fostering a lifelong commitment to civic engagement and community leadership.
