Professional Bio
David Jacobsen has more than 30 years of service with tax-exempt organizations with a focus on services for children, families, and people with disabilities, including more than 5 years with Ronald McDonald House. He is a mission-focused executive who values leading effectively with compassion. He joined the team at Ronald McDonald House Augusta in May 2024 to advance the agency’s mission to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.
Personally, David’s has six (6) adult children and two (2) grandchildren, Dustin & Layla. His dedication to faith and family have created opportunities for learning and teaching internationally in Israel, Greece, Italy, and several islands in the Caribbean. He received a doctorate in clinical psychology from Wheaton College (IL). His passion is found in the epistle of James, which he describes as the best psychology ever written.
